Our Journey
Solinas’ story started when we were founded in 2018 by IIT Madras alumni. Their vision was to use robotics and AI to solve for problems of operations and maintenance in enclosed spaces.
Our first innovation came in the form of the Endobot, a pipeline inspection robot. Which was then followed by the Homosep (our CEO and Co-founder Divanshu Kumar’s final year project at IIT Madras), a robot for cleaning manholes and septic tanks.
Solinas’ products and services are conceptualized with the intent to solve for underground water and sanitation problems of our country, and then built with only one goal: changing the lives of people.
Our co-founders Divanshu and Moinak Banerjee (CTO) are leading our team with the aim to build from the ground up the first robotics unicorn to emerge from India, one that solves problems for the world.
