What began as an engineering project at IIT Madras has grown into a broader mission to make underground water and sanitation infrastructure safer, smarter and more efficient.

In a recent feature, India Today highlighted the journey of Divanshu Kumar, Co-founder and CEO of Solinas Integrity, and how his work on mechanising septic tank cleaning during his time at IIT Madras evolved into a larger deep-tech effort focused on sanitation and underground infrastructure.

That early project eventually developed into Homosep, a robotic solution designed to reduce the need for human entry into hazardous sanitation environments. Solinas has since expanded its technology portfolio to include Endobot for robotic pipeline inspection and Swasth AI for converting inspection data into actionable infrastructure insights.

Today, Solinas brings together robotics, inspection and AI to address challenges across underground water and sanitation networks. Divanshu’s journey has also received wider recognition, including his inclusion in the Forbes India 30 Under 30 list in 2025 under the Industry and Manufacturing category.
